The CKCB-XCN is a pilot-to-open hydraulic check valve for load-locking applications. Its check function allows flow in one direction while blocking flow in the opposite direction until hydraulic pilot pressure opens the valve.
Flow passes freely from port 2 to port 1. Reverse flow from port 1 to port 2 remains blocked until pilot pressure is applied at port 3.
The pilot pressure required to release the valve depends on the load pressure. Pressure at port 2 also affects the pilot pressure needed for opening.
Before ordering, confirm the cartridge dimensions, manifold cavity, flow requirements and operating pressures. Check that the pilot arrangement matches your hydraulic circuit.
This type of valve provides a locking function. Applications requiring controlled movement of overrunning loads need an appropriately selected motion-control valve.
